Rye Residence

This project involved the demolition of the residence's existing front steps, which were narrow and centered only on the door, to a full-width porch that added balance to the entire facade. The former stairs were consistently slippery because proper materials had not been used and so the renovation involved the use of textured, low maintenance, Azek treads and decking, to avoid any future deterioration of the entrance materials. A new galvanized metal roof extended across the porch to offer long-lasting protection from the elements. A new red door further added to the curb appeal and a new landing, and landscaping further assisted in this goal.
