This is a project that is currently being designed with a client in Port Chester, NY. The existing space has unnecessary partition walls and dead areas that are making it feel closed in and dark. Our proposal includes removing the walls between the kitchen, dining, and living room areas to allow the existing sliding glass doors and windows to better illuminate the space. New recessed lighting will be added to create general lighting throughout. The existing fireplace and chimney will be revealed from all sides and will act as an anchor for the space.
