Dobbs Ferry Residence

This project focused on transforming an outdated and cluttered kitchen into a bright and clear new space. Taking down the original cabinet wall allowed for the kitchen to extend into the dining area and create a natural flow between the previously closed-off rooms. Structural work was performed to allow for additional countertop space and visual cues to the living and dining room areas. By opening up the two walls, the kitchen has been designed to create a larger and more accessible space. New, redefined windows were installed to provide ample light for the kitchen as well as expansive views of the outdoors. Updated all-white cabinetry with cherry wood accents helps to accentuate the natural floors and create a modern, sleek feel for this functional kitchen.
